Richard Banks joined St Albans City and British Legion band in 1962 on 2nd cornet, and quickly moved on to Solo Horn.

Len Smith started playing cornet in 1939 and attended his first practice with St Albans City Band in April 1939. From 1948 until 2006 he played Bb Bass and has seen many, many changes over the years!
