Can you play a brass instrument (or tuned percussion) to Grade 5 standard or above? Have you just moved to the area and played in your previous area? Or are you playing elsewhere and fancy a change, or just want to come along&nbsp;for some extra practice?&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Then we can help!<\/strong> Join our friendly band!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St Albans City Band is a friendly&nbsp;group of players&nbsp;based in St Albans, and we are currently looking for Bb bass players, a tuned percussion player and a soprano cornet player who meet the above criteria, in particular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have our very own bandroom (no packing stands away after every rehearsal!) and rehearse on a Wednesday night from 8 &#8211; 10pm under the baton of our professional Musical Director, Nicholas Garman. <a href=\"https:\/\/stalbansband.co.uk\/index.php\/where-is-our-band-room\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/stalbansband.co.uk\/index.php\/where-is-our-band-room\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Our&nbsp;bandroom is close to the centre of St Albans<\/a> and is convenient for M1 and M25 junctions and is only 20 minutes from London St Pancras by train. If you are of Grade 5 standard or above, or have a history of playing in similar or higher standard brass bands to ourselves please feel free to get in touch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you play any other brass instrument to the ones mentioned above&nbsp;you are still very welcome to come down and guest with us (but contact us beforehand, please).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please <a href=\"https:\/\/stalbansband.co.uk\/index.php\/2021\/09\/15\/contact-us-2\/\"><strong>send us a message<\/strong><\/a> and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
