Is it you?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Our thriving <a href=\"https:\/\/stalbansband.co.uk\/index.php\/youth-band\/\">Youth Band<\/a> in St Albans needs a Deputy Leader to support and deputise for the Band Leader, <a href=\"https:\/\/stalbansband.co.uk\/index.php\/md-band-leaders\/\">Simon Tong<\/a>, as the band grows apace from January 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An enthusiastic and well-motivated musician, you will assist our Youth Band Leader and deputise for him. Established in 2023, our Youth Band rehearses on Wednesdays from 5pm to 6:30pm in the city of St Albans and regularly performs in the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsibilities will include: individual and group brass instrument support during a weekly rehearsal, helping select music and supporting at concerts. All activities will attract a fee of \u00a345 per session on a self-employed basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St Albans City Band is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. Due to the nature of the position, any offer will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS and other vetting checks.
