We are a group of friendly and community focused brass <\/em>bands who have been making a contribution to local musical life for 130 years.<\/div>\n

Would you like to hear us play or book us?<\/a> A busy schedule of concerts and engagements<\/a> finds our bands performing throughout Hertfordshire and beyond. Our bands play a wide variety of music both old and new. Hear us play or hire us!<\/a><\/div>\n

Would you like to play with us?<\/a> Our main “City” band rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 8 – 10pm, our Youth Band rehearses on Wednesday early evenings, and our Community Band for returning or developing players rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 8 to 9:30. All rehearsals are at our very own Bandroom which is located at Unit 5a, Parkway, Porters Wood, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL3 6PA.<\/a><\/p>\n

All levels and all ages welcome. We have a Youth Band<\/a>, a Community Band<\/a> and our original St Albans City Band<\/a>, and regularly run classes for new starters. Interested? Please contact us<\/a> via our web contact form.<\/p>\n
