Here our Youth Band are playing Happy and the march Rise and Shine. Maybe they’ll be playing it while marching up and down the car park soon.

Exciting times in week one of our free absolute beginners brass course! We’ve done breathing, blowing raspberries, and playing our first notes on our instruments. All led expertly by professional trombonist Beth Pippen.

St Albans City Band were lucky enough to be able to play right through the summer of 2025, with the help of Martyn, Ed, Kenny and Jon as guest conductors, as well as our MD Nicholas. We’ve played a great mix of music, and had a lot of fun at the same time.
